Data

Permanently activated February 2, 2338 on Omicron Theata

Lieutenant Commander Data is the second and chief operations officer aboard the USS Enterprise-D. Created by Dr. Noonien Soong, Data is a sophisticated humanoid android a sentient being with cival rights, perhaps his own singular species. He strives to become more human even though his loyalty and moral integrity are unimpeachable. Data's powerful positronic brain gives him exceptional computational abilities, intense curiosity and perfect information recall, and his android body is strong and able to withstand conditions that would be fatal to other species. While Data laments his lack of feelings, the implantation of an emotion chip would bring its own challenges. From Trek Trivia Calendar February 2, 2012

NightShade

The night is by far the darkest in the shade. This war within this book was just as dark. It lasted for 300 years. It was between two of the three factions on the planet of Oriana. The two factions at war were the Torlick's and the Venturi's. The other faction was the Green's.

The Green's like their name suggest, were environmentally savy. They were in fact saving the world, coming up with ideas to overcome the pollutive aspects of the war, that was polluting everything.

There were few doctors left, for most of them joined the military. The doctor's that were left were overflowed with wounded as well as mothers who weren't giving birth or worse, giving birth to children missing limbs or features which disabled them to living a short life.

The worse part of the story, if you think it could get any worse is Picard was framed for the murder of one of the dignitaries. His fate was to be decided by the efforts of Worf and Troi. Worf being honored ambassadorship in Picards absence had an internal battle to believe that he could be a ambassador. On the advise of Troi, he makes an outstanding one.

The Backwards Planet

A planet in reverse
Stardate 209.11235
We are going down to a planet the first of it's kind, with a retrograding rotation.

An away mission consisting of the Captain, Data, and Worf are down checking this phenomena out.

The main questions are how and why this planets retrograde orbit occurred. Planets usually orbit the same way as the sun.

This was an important discovery. Picard found out an infatimesimal degree of the planet was tilted by 3/4 of an inch. This meant that this planet was a unique specimen of a cosmic body in space.

They found natives on this planet that the Enterprise's sensors couldn't pick up, because they were much like the soundings land mass. They were peaceful and welcoming to them, with many questions on where Picard and his party came from.

The natives were warp capable, however they chose not to employ their technology.

Since the planet rotated backward the inhabitants didn't age past 30 years.

Guinan

The only El-Aurain aboard the enterprise, she easily made friends because of her great listening abilities.  Her race had been scattered by the Borg. She was born in the early 1900 on El-Aurain. She hid from her father in a game of hide and seek on Earth where she met Samuel Clemins.
She kept Alberian Whiskey in Ten forward despite Starfleet’s synthehol rule. When Guinan met Q it was realized that they were enemies.
In 2263, she trained Picard in fencing. She then intentionally lost a match saying she didn’t like the sport anymore.
A few months later when the Enterprise crew too Hugh a board, Guinan asked Picard if it was wise to do so. He said to her it was an errand of mercy and they had humanitarian reasons to care for him.
She was married 23 times and had lots of children.
Guinan and Picard shared a long term relationship, which was “beyond friendship and beyond family.” She said to Geordi that she was attracted to bald men. In response Picard said that “she was very selective about whom she called a friend.”
Guinan helped when Data’s death was eminent by Commander Bruce Maddex. Guinon guided Picard in seeing that building a whole race of Androids would be much like slavery in human history.
Guinon and Picard often shared a game of chess.
In a conversation once with Wesley Crusher, he said sometimes you have to consider others ahead of yourself and she replied, yes, but there are times you have to think of yourself before others.
In 2366 she introduced Worf to Prune Juice. Worf called this a warriors drink. She inquired why he sat alone. Guinon helped a lot of the unhelpable people become social members of the crew such as Ro Laren and Worf. She retained friendships with Captain Picard through what he thought was a short time which turned into a long time.
